Hmm, holiday season almost over for 2024. It's been a busy August, so so for July and will be preparing for a make over in October. The rooms will get a new look and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished decor. The pool will also get some maintenance on the surrounds before the winter cover gets installed.

2024 update! We're in full flow getting ready for the summer season. New lounge furniture has transformed the living room. Fibre and new network equipmenmt has made streaming at high speed available to guests (up to 450mps!). The 11kW fast charge facility makes effecient charging easy at offpeak hours, a plus for EV owners. the garden has new landscaping, pleasing to the eyes. We're anricipating the renewal of our 5 * Tourist accreditation, due early June. We've just got a few days available for new bookings in July and the end of August/early September. We have three returning guests this year, always nice to welcome them again. We can be found on Airbnb, VRBO, Booking.com and Tripadvisor. It's good to see the reviews on these platforms to read the feedback from satisfied guests, also to see the published prices and see the savings which can be made by booking directly with us. We're also easy to find on Google under Le Hobou Heureux, Bezenac.
We'll publish more news as the season progresses.

Latest news. White Company Mattress toppers have arrived and installed in the three bedrooms, very comfortable!
This year has been completely different for bookings, normally guests book after Easter, now I'm 80% booked at the beginning of February, super pleased! Three of the bookings are from UK EV owners and we have a 11kW charge point giving a fast charge. Other guests are from the US, Germany, Australia, France. we still have the last week in July available and also three weeks from the 5th June. Contact [email protected] for more details.
We make an effort to ensure guests have a relaxing time in a home from home environment. Pets are welcome.

A quick update on Le Hibou Heureux. We've had a successful season so far despite travel restrictions to and from France (from the UK). We had two nice UK bookings but ssadly they had to cancel because of the Covid situation. However one has put down a deposit for two weeks next August which is good news. The cancelled bookings were replaced by French, Belgian and Hungarian visitors. We are fully booked until the 7th September but have vacancies from then onwards. I expect to get some interest from UK holiday makers wanting to spend a few days in La Dordogne. We have 11kw 3 phase charging for those EV owners, underused up to now but eagerly waiting for our next EV guests!
Hoping to hear from interested Brits looking for some sunshine and a comfy stay in secure but open gardens. Pets welcome!
