I sculpted this cabin from the earth on which it stands and named it Elvensong in celebration of the fairy magic in this woodland glade. It has its own private hot tub and is just a few metres from our wild swimming lake.

Skylark is a romantic lakeside cabin with a private whirlpool bath, an hour from Bordeaux, in the Dordogne. Designed for slow stays year-round, it invites winter fires, spring birdsong, summer swims, and autumn mist.

It’s both world rewilding day and spring equinox today! We can definitely feel the seasons changing here at Terre et Toi, and can’t wait for all the trees and wildflowers to burst into life. Spending time here amid our hundred acres of wild land is just so magical in the spring. 💚

Celebrate your creativity this International Women’s Day!! ✨

This is a photo of me applying limewash on a strawbale house I built, using a yellow ocre earth pigment in a limewash (I use 1 part lime to 3 parts water). Creating from the Earth gives me so much joy.

Whatever else is happening in your life - when you create, you’re in harmony with nature and your soul – there’s nothing quite like it!
