There was quite a wind storm this afternoon and sadly one of our 200+ year old giant sequoias took the brunt of it.

Vincent and I just had a couple of stressful days. One of our kittens found her way on to the roof of the château. 36 hours later, hunger and loneliness finally convinced her to climb down. We are very glad to have a happy ending after all the drama.

Winter seems to be here for a little while and we got some snow yesterday. All four seasons are beautiful here

Winter is coming to Courbevaux! We’ve already had our first snow, although it only lasted a few hours but we’re expecting more this week. It’s downright magical 😊

We've had a great summer at the Château. Three months has gone by so fast! I’ve been working like crazy settling in with all of our lovely pets. I’m really looking forward to our fall plans and (eventually) moving into our cozy starter cottage

It’s been an unhappy week for our Château. Sadly the previous owner passed away just days before the sale. Our hearts go out to the family in this trying time. We hope that the estate can be sorted out and that we can start on our adventure soon.
