To all our friends and followers,

We’ve received so many kind messages from people checking in on us because of the wildfires in the South of France. Thank you so much for your care and concern. ❤️

We’re happy to let you know that we’re safe. The fires are still a long way from us, and thankfully we are not affected by them.

Kees is now a volunteer firefighter, and fortunately he hasn’t had to respond to any fires in our area either. So, for now, everything here remains calm.

Although we’re not affected by the fires themselves, we can smell the smoke from the wildfires near Bordeaux, about 560 km away. The strong winds are carrying the smoke all the way here, making the air smell of wildfire and leaving the sky noticeably hazy.

Our thoughts are with everyone who has been impacted by these fires, and we sincerely hope the situation is brought under control as soon as possible.

Thank you again for all your messages, calls, and support. It truly means a lot to us. ❤️

This year, we’re trying something new : Lou’s vegetable garden! 🌱

Lettuce, beets, pumpkins, zucchinis, cucumbers, tomatoes, and herbs… you name it! Watering, weeding, watching everything grow — and finally harvesting. And honestly? Homegrown lettuce tastes SO good 🥬✨

And on top of that, we also have Fée’s cherries 🍒

Maybe an even bigger garden next year? 👩‍🌾☀️
