What is the most important thing on a yoga retreat?

We haven’t done a scientific survey, but almost every yoga teacher and participant we have talked to has put food up there in the top three.

That is why here at the frogs’ house, we take food seriously. For after all, body, mind, and spirit are but manifestations of the same being, and a well nourished body is a much cosier home to a calm, connected mind and a conscious spirit.

In preparation for the new season of retreats, our chef, Aurore, spent a few days learning and exchanging with , refining her technique, practicing new recipes, and creating dishes that were as visually stunning as they were soul-nourishingly
delectable - believe me, we, the lucky team, got to try them!

Ours is the world-renowned Mediterranean cuisine, based on taking the beautiful local organic ingredients and just highlighting their delicious goodness: minimal process, maximal taste.

The good old French grandma’s recipe leak with vinaigrette, elevated in this fusion presentation, is an absolute highlight: see sushi, eat glorious fresh-out-of-the-ground leak - who knew the humble veg could have sooooooooo much taste?!

Chef Aurore's cuisine is like our yoga classes: it is about being in the present moment, both when you cook, and when you eat.
