This beautiful deer was in the field just below Les Hirondelles this morning. At this time of year the valley is full of wildlife. Deer, hares, foxes and an amazing variety of birds. If you crave peace and tranquility, love watching wildlife, enjoy the amazing starry skies and meandering around markets trying the local food and wine, then give us a call. On a sunny day Mortagne is one of our favourite places to visit. Sitting by the port with a coffee or glass a glass of crisp sparkling Cremont then browsing the fantastic antique shop makes for a lovely chilled day out. At this time of year the colours in the courtyard outside Les Hirondelles are beautiful. An array of pinks and purples coupled with the vibrant green of the newly blooming trees and deep blue of the sky makes a perfect canvas. It was a dramatic sunset tonight over the valley and forest around Les Hirondelles. The deer are barking and the bird song is amazing. If you love nature you’ll love our beautiful family gite.
