📢 Summer Opening Hours – Musée de la Percée du Bocage

From 1 July until the end of August, the Musée de la Percée du Bocage will be open every day except Mondays, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

We look forward to welcoming you throughout the summer and sharing our passion for history and the duty of remembrance.

📅 Upcoming Events:
🇬🇧 25 & 26 July – Liberation Festival.
🕊️ 26 July – Commemorative ceremonies at Les Loges and Cahagnes.
🎖️ 6 August – Ceremony in memory of Sidney Bates VC.
🚩 16 August – Ceremony at the British 11th Armoured Division Memorial in Flers.

We hope many of you will join us for these important commemorative events as we honour the men and women who fought for our freedom.

📢 Horaires d'été du Musée de la Percée du Bocage

À partir du 1er juillet et jusqu'à la fin du mois d'août, le Musée de la Percée du Bocage sera ouvert tous les jours, à l'exception du lundi, de 11 h 00 à 17 h 00.

Nous espérons vous accueillir nombreux tout au long de cette période afin de partager avec vous notre passion pour l'Histoire et le devoir de mémoire.

We would like to inform all our dear customers that our store 8 á Huit will close from Tuesday, June 9 to June 11 for a complete renovation.

We will be happy to welcome you back for the reopening scheduled on Friday 12th June

The store will be called Carrefour Express.

*Deadline for sponsoring a plaque in time for installation by 6th June is tomorrow - 5pm 6th May.*

Sponsor a commemorative plaque in memory of a loved one, displayed in front of the Standing with Giants installation at the British Normandy Memorial.

Each plaque creates a powerful and personal tribute, where visitors can pause, reflect, and remember.

Whether you’re honouring a family member, a friend, or someone whose story has stayed with you, this is a meaningful way to ensure they are remembered in a truly special setting.

Proceeds support both charities: the British Normandy Memorial and Standing with Giants.

Plaques sponsored by 6th May will be in place at the British Normandy Memorial in time for 6th June. They will then remain in the wildflower meadows of the Memorial for a minimum of 5 years.
