Il est arrivé à 23 ans, plein d’entrain, décidé à redonner vie à cette propriété familiale endormie depuis une trentaine d’années. Les débuts n’ont pas été simples : pas d’internet, pas d’argent pour lancer les travaux… mais il avait pour lui la fougue de la jeunesse, une pointe de naïveté et surtout une grande audace.
Sans voiture, il faisait du stop. Un jour, un conducteur bienveillant s’est arrêté et l’a pris à bord. En discutant, l’homme lui a lancé : « Passez me voir demain à mon bureau, on verra ce qu’on peut faire. » Il était banquier.
C’était il y a 35 ans. Depuis, quel chemin parcouru… Le pari est réussi. La maison vit désormais au rythme des voyageurs de passage, de nos trois garçons qui y ont grandi, de la famille et des amis qui s’y retrouvent.
Elle a du charme… beaucoup de charme, cette maison

The early days were not easy: no internet, no money to begin the work… but he had the energy of youth, a touch of naivety, and above all, great boldness.
Without a car, he hitchhiked. One day, a kind driver stopped and gave him a ride. As they talked, the man said, “Come and see me at my office tomorrow, and we’ll see what we can do.” He was a banker.
That was 35 years ago. Since then, what a journey it has been… The gamble paid off. The house now lives to the rhythm of passing travelers, our three sons who grew up here, and the family and friends who gather within its walls.
It has charm… so much charm, this house.
