This week I had the pleasure of hosting 8
Firefighters from the West Midlands Fire Service and part of the United Kingdom international search and rescue team.
We managed to pack a lot in , with over 3500m of hiking ascent. The weather gods were with us and we finished the trip off with an arm pumping via ferrata.
A great bunch of guys & good to meet up again with my old friend Planty .
Hopefully catch you all again next year.

Another great trip leading for 360 expeditions. Six ladies from Henley-on-Thames (sisters Harriett & Nicki , cousin Claire and friends Anji ,Emma & Clare.
4 days trekking in the Aigüestortes national parc 🇪🇸. The girls did really well with some long days over hard terrain. A lovely group with lots of memories made.
We had good weather for 3 days then the weather gods turned on us , which forced a change of plans. Big shout out to Helen & Ian Lafford for initiating the escape plan & helping get us all off the mountain safely.

A great weekend working once again with Rolfe & 360 Expeditions.
A group of lifelong university friends from the UK climbed Pic L’Aneto 3404m , which is the highest peak in the Pyrenees. We started & finished from the Hospice de France , with a couple of nights in the Rencluse refuge. A great trip, lovely group , well done to all.

Just back from another great adventure.
A massive thank you to my great friend Gary Veacock & his team for a wonderful trip. Great to be taken out of the comfort zone & physically challenged.
Moreover great to see the professionalism & passion of the new generation of RM Mountain Leaders & young Marines.

Just hosted the Halford family from London for a grassroots introduction to telemark skiing. Their wonderful visit was an auction prize they had successfully bid for at the Royal Marines Charity Guildhall event. Their generosity will go a long way to helping the Royal Marines family.
The whole group progressed really well as part of a great package, delivered by lifelong oppos Gaz Veacock & Tip Culum , loved it …❤️.

Cinderella was needing some fresh air. Broke my golden rule of not letting the snowpack settle for 24hrs, resulting in a day’s trail breaking. A couple of hours navigating in whiteout conditions , all good training for 🇳🇴 in a couple of week’s time.

A brillant 2 day ski tour with friends of 40 years. Starting from Col de Peyresourde and finishing in the valley D’Oueil with an overnight stay in the ´luxurious’ refuge de Mont Né.

Just had the great pleasure of once again visiting the beautiful country of Nepal. Co-Leading a @360 Expedition with Ben Ryle to Everest Base Camp via the Cho La pass with 26 clients. A superb trip, with lots of laughs and a bank full of memories. Namaste

The valley D’Oueil continues its reputation as an area of outstanding natural beauty. Perfect ski conditions have allowed us to really explore the mountain tops surrounding Maison Jeanne by snow shoe and Nordic ski.
