*We loved the villa, it had everythong we needed and more.it was all very clean. The garden and pool wete stunning. The village was lovely and we enjoyed the local bar where we collected our daily bread and croissants. Perfect villa and location for a relaxing holiday. Would love to return

Le course de garcons is a fun race with wannabee waiters racing around the village balancing full glasses on a tray.

A sunny Saturday at Valras and Serignan beaches. Heading towards Barbar's well stocked fish shop we were intrigued by a long procession of medieval dressed banner carrying participants led by a band. They were the 25th Chapter of the confederation of food and wine producers from maritime S of France. An exhiliration afternoon exploring vast empty beaches.

Sunday market day in Meze. Quieter than Summer but charming in the January sun

It's annual gape harvest (vendange). Bizzare machinery appears again with locals giving way to trailer loads of grapes, drivers desperate to unload as any delay, too much sun etc will degrade their harvest and affect its value.

Patrick and Corrine from La Cave des Remperts provide Tapas for a visiting group of Canadian artists..so much to sketch and paint in the village and the local area..Thanks to Sallie and Malcolm for organising this. The meal concluded with a selection of local grapes Fraise, Italia, Muscat blanc, Oeillade noir, Chasselat..just perfect
