Our heartfelt thanks to Rachel McLaughlin and Donegal Daily for this insightful feature on our life - capturing the heart of our journey from Harvey’s Point in the hills of Donegal to the Célé Valley in the south west of France - a shift from leading a large hospitality operation to building a slower, more intentional way of living and working.

For us, this phase in our lives is defined by the gifts of time and family, and by continuing to create special places where people feel genuinely cared for. The business may look different now but the values remain unchanged: hospitality, connection and the joy of creating meaningful memories.

For anyone who has started, scaled, and eventually stepped away from a business they loved - you’ll understand the mix of pride, relief, and renewal this chapter brings.

We are grateful for the continued interest and for the support of family, friends, colleagues, partners and guests - all of whom have contributed to our story. It is a privilege to move forward with such encouragement and goodwill.
