Super location mais dommage 3 jours c'est court !!! Mais nous avons tout de même découvert une belle région. Rien a redire sur le gite, très propre et literie impeccable. Encore un grand merci à Kristell pour sa gentillesse.

Excellent séjour dans un agréable et confortable gite. Le vaste jardin a été apprécié pour les jeux avec les enfants. Les escapades nombreuses à proximité ont permis d'agrémenter le séjour.

We had a really nice week in St. Valerien at the last week of april. We made al lot af trips, to Nantes, Brouage, La Rochelle and closer to home there are lots of lovely places to visit. For example Vouvant. The house is nice, it's great to open the doors to let the sun come in and sit outside in the sun in the afternoon. When it gets cold we turned on the heather inside, it was warm fast.

The area where our gite Les Volets Bleus is located is packed with activities and you can see the ones in very close proximity on the website of our local tourism office (and that doesn't even include the beach, La Rochelle, the theme park of Puy du Fou...): https://www.fontenay-vendee-tourisme.com/en/activities

Below are the booking rates (direct bookings) for Les Volets Bleus - a lovely Cottage in the Vendée (west coast of France) for 2019:

- up 17th May 2019: £220 per week

- 18th May to 19th July 2019: £320 per week

- 20th July to 31st August 2019: £520 per week

Flexible days of arrival/departure and the rate is calculated pro-rata.

Monthly winter lets possible - just contact us for those.

Linen is optional at £15 per person per let.

Security deposit of £100 per week - given back if all well within 2 weeks of your departure.

Enjoyed another week with the children in St Valerien in the Vendee...played football, tennis in the garden, walked around the village with its pretty stone houses and colourful shutters, went to the beach and visited the amazing Historical theme park Puy du Fou...we still have weeks available in the summer holidays.

The gite is available the half term week at £220 the week. If weather holds it could mean lovely trips to the beach, the Mervent forest or the medieval village of Vouvant...if the weather becomes a bit chilly, there are the Aquarium of La Rochelle, the museum of the Faymoreau mines or the tower of Bazoges en Pareds....in any case activities and places to discover!!
