🌙🕯️ Candlelit Evenings return to Marqueyssac ✨

On Saturday 6 June, experience the very first Candlelit Evening of the season in one of the Périgord’s most beautiful gardens.

As night falls, over 1,000 real candles light up the garden paths. Amidst the shadows of the sculpted box trees, the strains of music and fairies on stilts wandering through the park, the atmosphere becomes simply magical. ✨

On the programme:

🕯️ Over 1,000 real candles
🎶 Live music
🧚‍♀️ Fairies on stilts wandering through the park
🌿 A timeless stroll through the heart of the gardens

And to prolong the magic, the Candlelit Evenings will continue throughout the summer, every Thursday evening from 7pm to midnight:

Ryanair’s route between Stansted and Brive is back on for 2026, from March to October 🥳

This is a second fabulous route into our beautiful region, just one hour east of Sarlat 🛬 And with Bergerac airport just over an hour west of Sarlat, that’s two Dordogne Valley airports you can choose to fly into from Stansted ✈️ Then there’s also Bordeaux airport which is just over two hours from us 🤩

And from Bergerac and Bordeaux there’s also a direct train service from their city centres into Sarlat 🚆
