🙏🏽 I rarely write about geopolitics, but this goes far beyond politics. Tonight, I pray for innocent civilians across the Middle East. For all my family and friends living in Iran, Dubai, Israel, Palestine and beyond.

Regimes, battles over oil and land, constant hypocrisy, pride, and power - all set against the basic human right to live peacefully together. As a proud British civilian 🇬🇧 born in Iran 🇮🇷, my strongest childhood memories of my birthplace are of bombs, crushed buildings, and the harrowing stories from my mother, who worked as a nurse caring for frontline victims during the Iran-Iraq war. All of that shaped in me a deep belief in one world, one love, freedom, and peace across the globe.

I truly hope the disgusting war crimes being committed by all sides come to an end soon, for the good of humanity.

As I’ve always said… the world would be a far better place if everyone just f@&king went fishing.
