Ok, Facebook tells me I haven't written for a while. That's because I have washed over 200 towels for the gite this season! No time to write. However, we have had 3 x 5 star reviews from our lovely guests on our first season.

More photos of Calfour gite. Calfour is a private gite. If you rent the property you do not share with other people. The pool comes with the gite and is private for gite people only. It is not a hotel or B&B but Facebook do not have a business page for private holiday rentals. The outside photos of the front will be completed after the renovation is complete in a few weeks from now. The rear of the gite will also have a decked area for covered/shaded dining.

Our gite in SW France is open from 3rd June 2017 for holiday rentals. Near to the beautiful bastide town of Eymet with its many restaurants and night markets.

Sleeping up to 9 in 4 rooms we have recently renovated the inside giving it a luxurious, bright, clean and airy feel. Our gite has the character of its 200 year old history with its foot thick beams, half metre thick stone walls and huge open fireplace with modern day luxuries such as a new shower room and new large family bathroom, fully fitted kitchen and a pool room with a full sized slatebed pool table and large, bright bedrooms each with fabulous views.

Outside is a dining decked and covered area, an 8 x 4 private pool with 180 degree views over the valley. Calfour is south facing with the sun all day long on the pool until it sets in the west with amazing sunsets.At the front of the gite is a covered morning terrace for watching the deer in the early morning mist and along the front is a full length open terrace.

Set in 11 hectares, Calfour gite is not fenced allowing the local deer, hares and wild boar to roam free. Huppoe and Golden oriels nesting along with buzzards and woodpeckers are some of our beautiful birds. We keep our fields as meadow grass and on the hill behind we have natural scots pine forest and juniper. A superb spot for the photographer or the nature enthusiast. We have created a rambling nature trail to enjoy this peaceful haven.
