I have written a short blog of last week's activities (https://kergudon.com/sunday-15-march-itll-be-all-white-on-the-night/) and, I am pleased to say, that we have got where we wanted to in the pool house and it has made a BIG visual difference.
There is one major step to be done before we receive the top coat paint, which I will be able to do tomorrow and Tuesday, and then I will be able to focus on other tasks that and beginning to become pressing, not least parts of the garden that need some TLC - and the weather looks like it may allow me to do that.

A month after my last blog, I have managed to publish another (https://kergudon.com/sunday-08-march-marching-on-slowly/).
It has been much longer than I'd anticipated, and there is less in the way of progress that I would have liked to show but all for good reason.
However, now we are in March, we hope to have some drier days and we are coming to a quieter time for guests so I should be able to make some pretty rapid progress in the next few weeks.
There will be more frequent blogs and there WILL be more progress to show ...

Apologies, I have just seen that the last blog I wrote was 8th February and it's already March !!!
I said at the end of the blog that I wouldn't write for a couple of weeks as all I would be focussed on was associated with the plasterboard and noone needs that many photos of large green sheets of plaster!
However, for a number of reasons, I haven't made the progress I wanted so I won't write a blog (again!) but next week is looking like it should be very productive so there will be an update next Sunday and lots of change to see ...

No need to get yourself a cuppa to read this week's blog as it is almost as short as last week! (https://kergudon.com/sunday-08-february-messy-business/)
The focus has been progressing the plaster boarding in the pool house. I have put up all the board required and we had one day filling and papering before I had to give the space a deep clean in case our weekend guests chose to use it. They didn't, although the water is now back to 27 degrees with the new pump.
We did get a walk today, amazingly Sundays seem to be the drier of the week, and found a circuit on the Daoulas peninsular. Certainly pretty but highlighted why we had been using the old railway line in previous weeks - it was quite muddy in places!
More filling next week so I may not write a blog, there are only so many photos of plaster board that you can look at after all ...

🤎 Le tiramisu à partager, revisité avec une touche bretonne
👉 On remplace le café classique par du Café-Lambig, cette liqueur subtilement caféinée et fruitée, pour un tiramisu plein de caractère !
Résultat : un tiramisu plus rond, plus parfumé… et encore plus convivial.
🍰 La recette (6 pers.)
Ingrédients
• 250 g de mascarpone
• 3 œufs
• 80 g de sucre
• Boudoirs
• 10 cl de Café-Lambig
• Cacao en poudre
Préparation
1️⃣ Séparer les blancs des jaunes. Fouetter les jaunes avec le sucre, puis incorporer le mascarpone.
2️⃣ Monter les blancs en neige et les incorporer délicatement.
3️⃣ Imbiber les boudoirs de Café-Lambig.
4️⃣ Monter le tiramisu en couches : biscuits / crème / biscuits / crème.
5️⃣ Repos au frais 4 h minimum.
6️⃣ Saupoudrer de cacao… et partager 🤎
🥃 Le Café-Lambig apporte des notes de café et de pomme, tout en douceur.

I've posted a, short, blog of the last 7 days (https://kergudon.com/sunday-01-february-plaster-bored/). Short because I have been focussed on a single task - plaster boarding the inside of the pool house.
It isn't quite finished, and probably isn't the most professional job if you look closely but I am pleased with it and it has given the space a very different feel already. When it is taped and filled you won't see the imperfections!
More worryingly we are already into February and hurtling through the year. Having just experienced one of the wettest January's I can recall we are hoping things will start to dry out so we can press on with many of the outdoor tasks we have. For now, there is plenty to complete inside the pool house ...
