Bassins des Lumières is an amazing art installation set in the old WW11 German U boat pens in the heart of Bordeaux. Abandoned and derelict for years they’ve been repurposed into this amanite where the walls, ceilings and water are transformed into a moving light, picture and music show featuring all sorts of artists work. We think it’s incredible and unmissable 😍😎🙏

If you walk St Palais direction Royan there are quite a few lovely coves & beaches and lots of little restaurants and bars, the Maison Blanche being one 😎😍🏊‍♂️🍽️🇫🇷🍷

Lovely day out at Montendre’s famous Foire de St Martin. The old garlic market has evolved into about 2kms of stalls along the main road through town, down many of the side streets and around the town square. You can buy just about anything and yes, garlic, onions, cheese, honey and wine stalls are everywhere. Tens of thousands throng the streets in order to buy, eat, drink and enjoy 😍😎🥩🐝🍷🧄🥖🧅
