Time to start planning, we have had a surge in enquiries and will be updating our bookings next week..

We are also looking at a number of payment protection policies for our guests, should the season have any interruptions. Please do make sure your travel insurance is up to date and that you have checked them thoroughly with regards to COVID.

We have finally escaped !!
The packed queue at Calais to use the tunnel on Sunday.
The deserted Gatwick Airport where we flew to Bulgaria on Wednesday night and the fabulous 20 hour road trip taking us through Bulgaria to the Turkish boarder and onward to our home in Fethiye !!
We will be back in Tignes for when the lifts open again winter 2020 / 2021!!

After the snowmelt during the last 3 months of lockdown, it’s been snowing again the last couple of days!😱

Our story

Chalet Tournavel has been in the family for over 30 years, Grandpa ran a ski company, he loved Tignes so much he bought Chalet Tournavel. Since the purchase he has run the chalet or rented it to ski companies who have offered it to their clients. As a family we have always visited the Chalet annually, however with our boys getting older and their passion for skiing growing we have decided to run it ourselves with the expert help of Paul and Lorraine, ski host veterans. This offers both our guests and family more flexibility. The Chalet can be visited in the winter on a Fully Catered or Family Catered basis, if you would like to rent the chalet on a self-catered basis in the summer then get in touch.

Tignes is as vibrant in the summer as it is in the winter, we love holidaying in Tignes in the summer, there is loads to do, lake activities, hiking, golf and mountain biking on offer. For a different summer holiday do have a look at what Tignes and Chalet Tournavel have to offer.
