What a week it's been at Aux Petits Lardons!

Last weekend we had a full house with the amazing Drifters Gleyo and Van Teemsche, their crew, and lots of wonderful guests. The atmosphere was incredible – laughter, great conversations and plenty of memories made.

And we're not slowing down! Tonight the village is celebrating with Pic Steak, a fantastic local initiative created by farmers working together to promote our region, its traditions and delicious local products. We absolutely love seeing our little village come alive!

And then... Wednesday! 🚴🇫🇷 The cherry on the cake: the Tour de France will race right past our road! We can't wait to cheer on the riders and soak up the atmosphere.

Life at Aux Petits Lardons is buzzing, a little bit crazy, full of laughter, and we wouldn't have it any other way. If you're looking for a place full of smiles, good vibes and authentic French countryside... you know where to find us. ❤️

One of the best parts of camping? Waking up without an alarm and treating yourself to a delicious breakfast.

Every morning you can order a fresh breakfast with warm croissants, homemade yoghurt and other tasty goodies to start your day right. ☕🥐

Not in the mood to cook in the evening? Keep an eye on our Plat du Jour! From homemade lasagne to a hearty chili or a slow-cooked stew – simple, fresh and made with love. ❤️

And of course... our ladies are working hard every single day. 🐔🥚 Fresh eggs from our own Ramonas are available whenever they decide to bless us with them. (Some days they're very productive, other days they're on strike. 😉)

Camping life is all about enjoying the little things.

🌸 This Sunday there’s something special happening in our village! 🌸

Come wander through a beautiful Vide Grenier (French car boot sale / flea market) combined with a lovely flower and plant market. Expect hidden treasures, vintage finds, local atmosphere, colourful flowers and plenty of cheerful Sunday vibes under the spring sun. 🌿☀️

A perfect little outing during your stay at the campsite — whether you’re hunting for bargains, looking for plants for the garden, or simply enjoying a relaxed Sunday with a coffee in hand.

If you’re staying with us this weekend, definitely worth a visit! 🌼

Our head of security and guests’ best friend, CJ Ramone, celebrated his 3rd barkday this weekend 🐾🎉

Three years of chaos, cuddles, supervising the campsite, stealing hearts and making friends with guests from all over the world ❤️

To celebrate properly, there was of course homemade dog cake involved — because around here, birthdays (human or canine) deserve something special 😄🎂🐶

We absolutely love welcoming dogs on our little camping. There is just something magical about mornings with wagging tails, lazy afternoons in the shade and happy muddy paws after an adventure in the mountains.

And for the dogs who need a little extra support during their holiday: Judith is also a dog trainer, so your four-legged friend is in very understanding hands here 😊
