La Maison du Vallon

A Normandy holiday home with a big garden near the sea. “La Maison du Vallon” is a Normandy cottage, completely restored, dating back to the French Revolution.

The house is built in clay, wood, silex and bricks, typical for the area. Surrounded by a large garden, the house is charming, located in the countryside, yet near the beach. The living quarters cover 150 m2, divided into two floors that can host up to 9 people. There is a living room and dining room with large fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a study, two bathrooms and four bedrooms.

“La Mai

son du Vallon” is situated in Varengeville-sur-Mer, 10 km south-west of Dieppe in Northern Normandy, about three hours drive from Brussels, two hours from Paris, five hours from London. The village is well known for the artists that lived and worked there. White cliffs and large beaches are at walking distance from the house. Some beaches are wild and untouched, with incredible rock formations, others are more touristic. The house is embraced by woods within a rolling landscape of fields. The agricultural area hides charming villages, which are well connected by a good road infrastructure. Good for bike rides. Birds, butterflies and squirrels, cows and horses complete the natural environment. The sky at night is a wonderfully full of stars. Nothing spoils the silence and peacefulness of the place.
