sh to be in the city centre of Aberdeen. Here for a mini break, catching up with family members or working in Aberdeen short term? Our house is a former guest house so all the 9 rooms have their own private facilities. All rooms have double beds except one which has 2 single beds. So 10 people can comfortably be accommodated. More people can be accommodated by arrangement first. There is a large dining room where everyone can sit together and enjoy a home cooked meal prepared in the fully equipped kitchen, or if no one can be bothered, order a take away and relax in each others company. There is a large lounge where your group can meet, relax and socialise in comfort. There is WiFi throughout the house and all rooms have their own TV so if you need a bit of quiet time or privacy you can escape to your own room. With our large car park for up to 6 cars, it is a boost for a city location. Park the cars up, relax and go and explore the city centre only 600m away (5 minute walk) In the opposite direction is the beautiful beach front again only 5 minutes walk away. The city has all the attractions that Aberdeen has to offer while the beachfront is great to walk (or run!!) along to the historic Footdee and reward yourself with refreshment at one of the cafes. Hire a surf or a paddle board and get out on the sea for some adventurous fun!!! Its brilliant. Within a short drive there is whole of the North East Coast to explore. From the rugged coastline with stunning attractions of Dunnottar Castle or the calmness of the seal colony at Newburgh, to the heather clad mountains of Royal Deeside and remoteness of the Cairngorm National Park. All within an hours drive of us. We are an ideal choice for so many reasons.

January feels extra long this year with the weather we are having. Still it is winter and to be expected.

Out for a walk along the beach this morning and its so different from the summer time. Pretty stormy and you can see a ship rolling around as its heading for the "home" of Aberdeen harbour.

The tree is up and the mood is getting festive. Getting Bimini all ready for guests arriving from Australia for a family...

Had a great afternoon walk at Stonehaven with the sun beating down. A beautiful wee town just south of Aberdeen. Walked along the boardwalk and admired the "Stoney Banksy" sculptures. Fantastic art work. The Viking ship is my favourite.
If your ever in the North East of Scotland, this is gem of place to stop at.
