Ever wondered what’s behind some of Aberdeenshire’s most interesting doors?

Doors Open Days returns to Aberdeenshire on 19 & 20 September, offering the chance to discover fascinating buildings, places and stories across the region - all for free.

It’s a brilliant excuse to get out and explore somewhere you might normally walk straight past and another reason why September is such a lovely time for an Aberdeenshire escape.

Explore by day, then head back to Clovenstone for a peaceful evening in the countryside

One of the best things about a stay at Clovenstone? Your very own private hot tub.

After a day exploring Aberdeenshire, there’s nothing quite like sinking into the warm water, breathing in the fresh countryside air and simply switching off.

Slow mornings, peaceful afternoons or evenings under the stars…the only difficult decision is when to get in!

And with a private hot tub at every Clovenstone lodge, relaxing is all part of the experience.

Who would you bring along for a hot tub escape?

Why should your four-legged family member miss out on the holiday?

At Clovenstone, dogs are always welcome, meaning the whole family can enjoy a countryside escape together.

With woodland walks, open countryside and plenty of places to explore nearby, it's the perfect destination for wagging tails and muddy paws.

After a day of adventure, everyone can put their feet (and paws!) up and relax at Clovenstone Lodges.
