We’ve just had a guest who needs to change their dates opening up a week in October from the 9th

With the current situation we’re fully booked so if you fancy a last minute impromptu week away in Oct 👍👍👍👍 then here’s your chance.

(Also because it’s October and because we kept the prices the same as pre-COVID it’s a bargain!)

We're working hard to get everything up and running to re-open the cottage next week.

We're following all of the guidelines and doing everything we can to ensure the cottage is a safe.

Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update

Currently we are in a very strange and difficult situation where there has been no directive to not travel but common sense says it’s probably not a good idea. Our current feeling is until we have a better idea it's best not to travel and just stay home.

If you have a booking in the next few weeks Sykes cottages are allowing customers to change the booking to a later date. We can't mandate guests change their holiday and because of this the cottage remains open but if guests can change the dates we currently feel this is the best option and urge our customers to consider this. Having done the trip from Shrewsbury to Aberdyfi it truly is a stunningly beautiful rail journey.
