Too hot for adventures today! 🐐☀️🥵

Our pygmy goats and their adorable babies have found the perfect spot in the shade to escape the sunshine and enjoy a little afternoon snooze. 🌿🤎

Even our smallest residents know how to find the best spot on a beautiful summer’s day! 🥰

🔥 IMPORTANT NOTICE – NO FIRE PITS OR CHARCOAL BBQs UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE 🔥

Sadly, due to the extremely dry weather and the increasing number of wildfires breaking out, we have made the decision to BAN the use of ALL fire pits and CHARCOAL BBQs at Boatside until further notice.

🚫 NO FIRE PITS
🚫 NO OPEN FIRES
🚫 NO CHARCOAL BBQs

This applies to EVERY camper on site, with no exceptions.

We know sitting around the fire pit or having a BBQ is a big part of camping, and it’s not a decision we’ve made lightly. However, the safety of our guests, our neighbours and our beautiful local countryside has to come first. 🌿❤️

One small spark or hot piece of charcoal is all it takes in these conditions, and we simply aren’t prepared to take that risk.

Please do not bring or use fire pits, charcoal BBQs or any form of open fire on site.

Thank you for understanding and helping us protect Boatside, the River Wye and the beautiful landscape around us. 🙏

Now all eyes are on the other mum-to-be… she looks fit to burst, so we don’t think it’ll be long! 🤞🐐

Life at Boatside is never boring, one minute you’re cleaning loos, the next you’re delivering babies! 🌿😂
