Eglwys Cwyfan 🌊

Or, as locals call it, “the little church in the sea.” Sitting quietly on the tiny tidal island of Cribinau off the Anglesey coast, this historic gem feels like something from another world. Dating all the way back to the 12th century, the church has stood resilient against the tides for hundreds of years.

At low tide, you can walk across the causeway and experience this peaceful spot up close, surrounded by sea, history, and breathtaking views.

A 5 minute drive or 45 minute walk straight out of our garden and right onto the coastal path. Known locally as Eglwys Bach Y Môr.

There is a really nice 5 km circular walk from the house where you can see this beautiful church.
