Well it’s been a busy year already and still more to come. We were on Channel 4 again last week in a repeat of the show we were on in 2019. Only seems like yesterday! We hope you all still enjoy the episode and have a giggle at my antics.

We are still open and extremely busy at the guesthouse. I know our “no vacancy” sign is up very often and that’s just because we are full all the time with the odd day off so we can take a breather.

Well it’s been some time since I last posted we had a busy year in 2023 which has seen an increase in Guests every year since we began in 2016. We have recently been awarded a 5 for our Food Hygiene Certificate and 9.7 on Hotel.Social and 9.6 on Booking.com this we could not have done without the support from our Family and Friends and more importantly you our Guests. Tomorrow from 3-40pm you can see us again on Four in Bed on channel. More 4 hope you enjoy watching as much as we enjoyed participating our gracious thanks again Mike and Del

Hi everyone well it looks like being a busy year as everything is getting better emerging from the Pandemic. We have just reached our 1000th guest accommodation stay and we would like to thank all our past Guests and look forward to meeting new guests and previous guests again in the future. Hi all, It’s great to be back!!!!! We have just finished cleaning and sanitising the guest house after our first guests this year. Looking forward to hosting many more....we’ve had a bit of a touch up in preparation!!!

To all our Followers, Friends and Guests,

We hope you all enjoyed our TV Debut on Channel 4’s “Four in A Bed” and it brought smiles and laughter as it did us. Unfortunately, we were not lucky enough to win but hopefully we portrayed ourselves in an honest and fair way helping promote Deri-Down Guest House, furthermore Abergavenny and Wales.

Overall, we enjoyed our time on the show and we met some very nice people, becoming friends in a short space of time. I hope I didn’t shock too many people with some of the filming that was done, we didn’t know what they would show next.

We would like to thank everyone for their supportive messages and hopefully meet some new guests and returning guests when this pandemic has been stemmed.
