The Great Western

The Great Western The Great Western was originally a Victorian Railway Hotel which has been operating as a bar, B&B and hostel since 1850.

The Great Western is conveniently located opposite Abergavenny train station and a short walk from the town centre. With a large selection of drinks, including locally brewed ale, as well as food and accommodation, there is always a reason to visit us! In addition to our en suite B&B accommodation, The Great Western is home to Black Sheep Backpackers, low cost bunkhouse style accommodation for wal

kers and travellers alike. Whether enjoying a pint, staying for the weekend or celebrating a special occasion with friends, The Great Western is great value, friendly and fun.

Check out our website for more information .
