Déjà vu all over again !

It seems only a short time ago when we celebrated coming out of lock down in July and re-opening the doors of the Ffarm to guests again.

Having been effectively closed for the whole of October, due to our local lock-down and then the national Welsh firebreak, we are absolutely delighted that the Welsh Government has now confirmed that we will be allowed to re-open on Monday 9 November.

All the measures that we introduced earlier the year, to make The Ffarm a COVID-safe environment, will remain in place. The health, safety and well-being of everyone - ourselves, our staff, our guests and our local community - remain of paramount importance to us.

The current COVID rules allow anyone from within Wales to travel and enjoy a break with us here at the Ffarm. However we would wish to emphasise that Wales remains open for business too and for those whose business trip requires accommodation, you will find everything you need here at the Ffarm. We guarantee a warm and friendly welcome to all responsible individuals wishing to partake of our hospitality.

The doors to Ffarm Country House are now back open after almost 4 months of lock down.
We are very pleased to have already welcomed our first guests back and all the measures we've put in place have worked extremely well and have been appreciated by everyone.
Happy to say our guests so far have been respectful of all the new House Rules and have behaved very responsibly so thank-you to everyone for keeping us all safe.
On our way back to "normal" - one small step at a time.

The 1st Minister of Wales announced last Friday that we can re-open the Ffarm on Monday 13th July. This is of course subject to the “R Value” being controlled.

Over the next 3 weeks, we will be preparing the hotel so that we can safely welcome you back. It is clear that the world has changed due to COVID19 and it will be necessary to put changes in place to ensure the safety of our guests, our staff and our local community. However we will do everything we possibly can to preserve the charm and tranquillity of the Ffarm to be a safe haven in these strange times.

We are fortunate that the Ffarm has always had a lot of space, both inside and out, to allow safe social distancing but we are pleased to say that when we re-open we will have added a new function room too. The Ffarm Billiard Room will enable us to offer private dining for our guests as well as the option of room service.

As an added precaution it is our intent only to offer half of our 10 rooms for use whilst the 2m rule remains. As a result availability may be a little limited, at least initially, and we apologise for this but one small safe step at a time.

Before we re-open we will issue guidance to all our guests, about the changes. Remember things will evolve over the coming months. We will make modifications as guidance from the Welsh Government changes until we get back to normality.

We are really looking forward to welcoming you all back to the Ffarm. It's been strangely quiet here without you and we have missed you all.

Valentines Weekend Menu
Friday 14 Feb & Saturday 15 Feb 2020

We're offering an extra special 5 course menu for the Valentines weekend this year with the option to have it either on the Friday or Saturday evening. There are vegetarian options too.

It is available for residents and non residents alike so if a romantic meal appeals then simply give us a call to book a table.

10% FFARM FRIENDS DISCOUNT
We've decided for 2017 to extend our Ffarm Friends discount to all guests who book directly with us and not just returning guests. This way our current and future Ffarm Friends can all enjoy low zero commission rates at the Ffarm. You will see that the rates on our own website now have the 10% Ffarm Friends discount built in so if you wish to enjoy great savings during 2017 then simply give us a call or book via our own website. After all why pay extra to use the On Line Travel Agents when you can get better rates directly with us.

To all our friends,
We've had a really busy new year with our biggest New Year's Eve banquet ever - not easy cooking 7 courses for 25 guests - atmosphere was great and the fireworks lent the affair a flamboyant finish.
Thank-you everyone for a great 2016 and we look forward to welcoming many of you back to the Ffarm during 2017.

Our new menus for 2016 are now available on the Ffarm Food page of our website.
We wanted to keep the most popular dishes and bring back some of the old favourites from previous years but we also wanted to bring some fresh ideas to the table.
We have therefore introduced two menus - one will be for the week and one for the weekend (Mussels will be only on the weekday menu as they are hard to get at weekends - sorry).
We hope there is something on both menus that will tempt every palette and taste bud.
We would certainly welcome your feedback.

With Summer well behind us now and the evenings closing in it is surely time now to be looking forward to Christmas ! We've got a fantastic new Christmas menu for groups of 6 or more that we will be running throughout December. So if you'd like a Christmas Celebration here at the Ffarm then please give us a call.
The tree goes up on 1st December.

We are very pleased to announce that the bakery in Betws-yn-Rhos - Popty Penrhos - will soon be offering Afternoon Tea at the Ffarm complete with cakes, scones and sandwiches all served on vintage bone china crockery. We are extremely pleased to announce that the Ffarm can now offer more accommodation choices with the introduction of a one bedroomed self catering flat.
This is furnished to a high standard with an open plan lounge, dining area and fully equipped kitchen.
The Ffarm Flat is perfect for 2 people and provides a little more independence. It can be taken for anything from 3 days to 3 months.
