Trig Point Unveiling today. Weather had fun with us. Dry walking to the top then horizontal hail at the time of the Unveiling but that just added to the atmosphere of the event.

We waved goodbye to the diggers today so it’s time to say some huge thank yous….
🪏 for the design and build of “the best blue trail this side of the Alps” (today’s feedback!!)
👑 and the Dornell Community Benefit Fund and Tomintoul & Glenlivet Development Trust for their funding support
🚗 and for all of you that have bought car park tickets which made a huge contribution to the fundraising.
These trails cost thousands of pounds and we are so pleased with this weekends feedback and look forward to seeing you all soon to ride the newly name “Underthinker” trail!!!!!

☀️ From 1 April until 30 September, fires and barbecues are banned across the Cairngorms National Park, with a maximum fine of £500. ☀️

At Glenlivet we know how much you love the nature and communities here. By acting together we can protect people, wildlife, and the landscapes we all enjoy.

✅ Picnics, camping, and campervan stays are still very welcome
✅ Gas camping stoves are allowed (if used in line with the Scottish Outdoor
Access Code guidance), so you can still cook your dinner!
❌ Please don’t light fires or use disposable BBQs anywhere on the estate

We know sunny days and outdoor adventures go hand in hand, but it only takes one spark to cause serious damage. Thank you for helping us look after Glenlivet Estate and the wider National Park so that everyone can continue to enjoy it safely.
