St Margaret’s Church is a striking Gothic building of granite, featuring a cruciform design, elegant tower, and richly decorated interior with marble, carved stone, and stained glass. Built between 1875 and 1879 by Alexander Ross, it was funded by heiress Margaret Macpherson Grant as part of an orphanage she founded. Though the orphanage is gone, the church remains active today and is recognised as a Category A listed building.

Just a 10-minute walk up the high street from the Mash Tun, it's a must see!🤩
