My shoulder replacement has healed nicely to the extent that we can open our B and B from March 2nd. It has been a long 5 months but worth it in the end

Happy New Year everyone. My shoulder is coming along great and we will be opening as normal in March. Our prices have not changed since last year and if we get stung with a tourist tax we will absorb it. 💕🥂🍾

My shoulder replacement is doing really well so I have decided to reopen for guests on 6th February. Am really looking forward to it.

I’ve had date of October 20th for my replacement shoulder operation. Later than I would have liked but it means we can stay open longer than I first thought. We will not be closing until October 12th now.

I am having a shoulder replacement in October so will be closing for a few months while I regain use of my right arm. This will probably be from October and re-opening in March 2026. Apologies to anyone wanting to stay during this period. Give us a ring as we may be able to open earlier but won’t know until I have had the operation.

Welcome to all our guests from England who can travel to Wales today. We have plenty of bookings but always with the proviso that travel would be allowed. We have a few vacancies but they are going fast so if you want a lovely holiday in a beautiful part of Wales we will be happy to welcome you along with our Welsh visitors. Outdoor hospitality will be allowed later in the month and the White Lion is well prepared! Why wait 😀

Had our first guests for ages today for a 2 night stay. A lovely young couple from Cardiff who are keen walkers. Had a few senior moments trying to remember where I had put everything away and how to organise room service breakfast after about 6 months off!! Fingers crossed that they will enjoy their stay. Happy Easter everyone 🐣

HOORAY! We can open for Easter! Technically we can open from Saturday but with one day’s notice it’s not possible to get ready in time! We will be taking guests from Wales from Thursday for Easter, so how about an Easter weekend break? 👍
