Blue Grass Cottages are situated in the hamlet of Chancery just 10 mins drive from Aberystwyth. 3 Self-Catering Cottages and a large Townhouse accommodation by the sea. A stone's throw from the idyllic Cardigan Bay coastline, Blue Grass Cottages are situated on Brynglas Farm - a small family run working farm. Historically, the cottages were used as stables, and some of the original features can st

ill be seen today. The Cottages and the Townhouse are of a very high standard and fully equipped with a choice between either a six bedroom, a two or a three bedroom cottage. We offer single occupancy rates in 2 of the Cottages. We have 2 cottages that are guaranteed NO PETS and 1 cottage and the Townhouse which are dog friendly - 1 or 2 small dogs - we ask that they remain on the ground floor. A warm welcome awaits you!

We step into September with three of our osprey family still with us, Idris, Llinau and Elsi. This has only happened three times before. We are sure Idris will be counting down the days as the draw south increases.

For the past week we have a ewe that will come up to the gate and start shouting for us to open the gate for her to come into the garden to eat the windfall apples. She will then call us when she’s ready to go back to the field to the other ewes.

Whilst waiting for our new arrivals I took a short walk to South Beach. After the rain this morning (yes we actual had rain today) it dried up this afternoon.
The life guard was on duty too.
The sea looked calm and very inviting.
