We believe that luxury self-catering and environmental care go hand-in-hand. Here is how we look after our woodland retreat and work to minimise our carbon footprint:

🪵 Carbon-Neutral Heating: Our lodges are insulated to the highest specifications and kept warm with wood-burning stoves using wood harvested directly from our own forests.

🛏️ Ethical & Recycled Details: We provide certified Fairtrade organic bed linen, supply eco-friendly cleaning products, and equip our cabins with recycled glassware and recycled paper products.

🐿️ Protecting Forest Wildlife: We feed our resident red squirrels and birds, monitor damselflies in partnership with the British Dragonfly Society, and replant native trees like Silver Birch, Sessile Oak, Rowan, and Hazel to provide long-term food sources for wildlife.
