Our last group of the season were from 🇺🇸 and had a lovely time in the area. They were clearly seasoned travellers and commented that the cold, damp weather was better than they expected! The driver of the group even enjoyed the Scottish roads - now that’s definitely the best attitude to have!! The perfect guests to end our fab season! 🍂🍁🍂

And just like that, we are closed for the season! This year has just flown in and we have had the loveliest guests visiting us since April - thank you all for your positive record and helpful feedback.

Last night was a stunning full harvest moon, today the weather has closed in again …. but it is the end of September after all! Our last guests were a lovely group from 🇺🇸, leaving us a thoughtful note in the book.

Our penultimate guests of the season!! I can’t believe there is only one booking before we close until 2027 (bookings already coming in!). Paul and his party were lovely. They had some helpful feedback for us which is ALWAYS welcome, but also gave us 5 stars which was very generous. Come back again!

We are nearing the end of the season with just a couple of last minute nights available before we close at the end of the month. The weather is pretty changeable but when the sun comes out, it is perfectly autumnal ☀️🍂🍁💙

A few more lovely words from our Italian and French guests in the last month or so! 🇮🇹 🇫🇷 It’s a bit cooler now and a bit rainy too - but the house is cosy and there are plenty of logs for a roaring fire 😊

Autumn is here - leaves are beginning to change colour and fall, mushrooms appearing, and a very autumnal sky in the evening. Oh, but the reviews are still lovely! 🍁 🍂

We’ve had quite bad weather recently, a lot of rain, low temperatures….and no blue skies 💙. Things are changing a wee bit for the better and it’s fab to see blue skies, albeit fleetingly! We’ve just had a lovely family from the states staying and we love when the wee ones give reviews!
