This picture was taken almost exactly one year ago but earlier on today we bid farewell to our final guests as Jane and I continue the business handover to new owners. We wish them every possible success, and the greatest of fun, as they put their own perspective on what we started. Huge thanks to all our wonderful guests for making the last three years so very special. We have loved every second of our time at the helm of The Private Hill and cherish so many fantastic memories. The Private Hill is changing hands.....

It is with great pleasure that we can today announce the successful sale of The Private Hill and Thrussendale Farm businesses.

Over the last 3 years our luxury, boutique, rather unique ‘property on the hill’, has been led by a passion to deliver excellence for our many regular and other guests. With a truly world class team working with us we have tried hard to exceed guest expectations at every possible opportunity.

Jane and I will shortly head off to embrace retirement and will pass over the reins to the new owners on Wednesday 30th November.

We would love to see any of our regular guests (many of whom have become firm friends) before we go, if at all possible, but in any event to thank you all, very sincerely, for your support and kindness over the years. It’s been an absolute privilege to have done what we have and we wish the new owners every possible success with this wonderful business on their very special little farm.

We will be back……but as Guests next time!
