Another lovely event at the hall coming up very soon.
This is the 2026 Annual Art Exhibition, showcasing works created by the very talented art group attending classes at the hall, under the excellent tutelage of .

The exhibition opens on Friday the 24th April at 7pm and runs until Sunday 26th.
The exhibition is free to attend, do call in for refreshments while you check out the wonderful works of art, and maybe buy a raffle ticket too.

Practicing traditional soda bread making for the coming season 😋

I added a little wholemeal flour for extra fibre, B vitamins , magnesium and iron 💪

My griddle is now 44 years old and still going strong

A bit late to the pancake party 🥞but I had to spoil Mr VDV with some tasty little poffertjes 😋

Needless to say his eyes lit up when I produced them 🇳🇱

For anyone that hasn’t had them they are delicious small & fluffy , mini pancakes traditionally served warm with butter and icing sugar 😋

You can use a poffertjes pan but I find it just as easy spooning small pieces of batter on my griddle 👍
