The most perfect of rooms - The Morning Room.

Once the place where the Earl-in-Waiting’s wife would take her morning tea, this beautiful room has a quiet magic all of its own.

Its extraordinary warmth and natural light are cherished by photographers, our couples, wedding planners and florists alike. Fairytale niches and intricate plasterwork add to its enchanting character, creating an almost ethereal quality that is difficult to put into words.

Today, it lends itself so beautifully to pre-dinner cocktails, an intimate rehearsal dinner or a truly special wedding ceremony.

After looking some somewhere for ourselves to have our wedding 7 years ago, we knew we wanted yet it was impossible to find. The missing piece was genuine authenticity, and somewhere we knew we would feel comfortable and relaxed.

The classic rehearsal dinner.

Traditionally served as an opportunity for all involved in the ceremony to meet, and rehearse the proceedings ahead of the wedding.

This beautiful English garden inspired dinner, with its soft candlelight, elegant florals and thoughtful tableware is as perfect as they come.

Some of our most favourite memories of our weddings at Wootton Hall are of these relaxed and intimate evenings…where the nearest and dearest gather, the house fills with with laughter, and guests re-live memories together and make new ones.

Where heritage meets nature.

Taking florals across three levels of Wootton Hall’s atrium was an extraordinary feat of floral design and engineering by Kim Platt-Dreamboats and Carousels for Gemma & Sonny’s beautiful wedding.

Working with the architecture of the historic cantilevered staircase dating back to 1796, an abundance of flowers and foliage was carefully constructed to flow between each level, creating the illusion of an English country garden growing naturally down the stairs, and entwined through the wrought iron balustrade.

We are delighted to introduce Sundays at the Chef’s Table, a rare opportunity to step inside our private family home and experience the hospitality Wootton Hall has become known for.

Led by the land and the seasons, our Executive Chef, Callum Richardson, has created an exceptional Sunday lunch celebrating beautiful ingredients, provenance and the very best of our estate’s produce.

Bring the family, let the children enjoy board games whilst the grown-ups linger over lunch. Gather your favourite friends around the table, or perhaps return with your loved ones to the place where you’ll soon be married.

Whether it’s a Sunday tradition or a special occasion, we want you to feel completely at home.

Join us as a couple, book as a group of four, or reserve the Chef’s Table exclusively for six to eight guests.

An English country garden.

Everything started with the Ballroom at Wootton Hall. It was the first room we renovated when we got the keys. A room steeped in history, with wonderful stories to tell.

One of our favourites is that of the Adam fireplace, rescued by Lord Worsely from bomb damaged buildings in London during the Blitz and brought to the safety of his country home in Lincolnshire.

The Ballroom’s enormous windows flood the room with natural light, catching the crystals of the original chandelier and casting a beautiful glow throughout. With the gardens beyond almost becoming part of the room itself, it creates the most classical setting for a ceremony.

For this particular shoot, the creative’s vision was an abundant English country garden wedding. A ceremony with flowers and foliage arranged as though they had grown quite naturally into the room by the incredible Breige Siegan-Smith .

It felt so wonderfully connected to Wootton Hall and everything we believe in. Our relationship with the land, our love of provenance and the idea that the beautiful nature of the estate becomes its luxury.

Nature is one of Wootton Hall’s signatures.

Our Japanese dogwood, a symbol of enduring love and new beginnings, creates one of the most beautiful natural backdrops on the estate and had its own part to play in this exquisite editorial.

Part of the Hall’s heritage, it was planted by a much-loved former custodian who had a passion for beautiful trees. It happened to be at the very height of its bloom for this shoot, and quite naturally earned its place in the photographs alongside the extraordinary dress designed in fabric from 𝑲𝑨𝑻𝑰𝑬 𝑱𝑼𝑳𝑰𝑨 𝑷𝑰𝑷𝑬𝑹: 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝑨𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒔𝒕 & 𝑷𝒉𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒈𝒓𝒂𝒑𝒉𝒆𝒓 watercolour paintings and created by the magical hand of Bespoke Couture Wedding DrBespoke Couture Wedding Dress Design London/Surrey/UK/Worldwidee estate, always remember to look up. Led by the land.

Our family and team, grow seeds throughout the year and nurture the kitchen garden with a lot of love and care. We work with the estate’s own ecosystem to put goodness into our soil, tending to the land to bring wonderful produce to our kitchen.

Although we’re nearing the end of our growing season, this time of year brings an abundant harvest of flowers and vegetables and a rewarding moment for the hard work and patience for all involved. We preserve as much as we can for the winter period, and for hampers and Chef’s Table experiences.

With Chef’s Tables booked this week much of this produce will be freshly picked, finding its way into the hands of chefs and onto our guests’ plates.
