Our Story
Welcome to Haughton Arms Hotel, the idyllic, family run hotel, set in the quaint country town of Alford, only a short drive from Aberdeen city centre.
Originally built in the 1820’s as The Station Hotel, it was renamed as The Haughton Arms Hotel in 1871 and was the first major building in the area, stimulating the growth of Alford. Since then the Hotel has grown and developed into its’ current format under its present owners, gaining a well-earned reputation for good food and great service.
The Haughton Arms Hotel offers 10 quality bedrooms finished to a very high standard and has an excellent conference / banquet suite alongside the hotel’s renowned restaurant. We have plenty of tempting traditional dishes, so there is something for the entire family.
A warm welcome awaits you at our friendly hotel, whether you are here to dine in our Restaurant, stay in one of our sumptuous rooms, or just partake of the hospitality in our bar.
