Just checking in. Hope you are all safe and well.
Reflecting on our last post in March, we had thought that all this would be behind us. In fact we seem to be even more embroiled with Covid 19. I note the 'new' normal has now become 'next' normal as we struggle to adapt to new circumstances.
We are continuing to work towards opening but this doesn't seem to be the right time to be doing that. The evidence of the toll the pandemic is taking on established businesses is in the news daily. The times are too uncertain to be starting something.
So it is batten down the hatches for the winter and fingers crossed that we emerge in spring (or before) with more positive news.

We had been hoping to post some good news over the next month or two about opening the doors in 2020. However, the current uncertainty over the health of the nation and beyond means that we will be waiting to see what happens.
Work continues at the Glenkindie Arms and all our Facebook friends will be kept up to date with any announcements as they happen.

Having done some research about the history of The Glenkindie Arms , we found these pictures dated around 1900. We liked the idea of reverting to an Inn which is more in keeping with our plans.
We are now 'The Glenkindie Arms Inn'.

P.S. We would be interested to see any old or recent photographs anyone may have. We have only been able to find these two photographs.
