The weather outside might be damp and dreary but the cows are all happily tucked up inside their new shed.
Thought we’d show you the latest additions to the farm we’ve had 3 heifer calves and 1 bull calf so far, 1 of the heifer calves is out of our British Blue cow which this year has had a lovely black / brown calf with a white stripe down her back. 🐮💗

And that’s a wrap for 2025 for the B&B.

We would like to thank everybody who has supported and visited us over the last year and wish you all a Very Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

We look forward to seeing you in the new year, we reopen the accommodation on 4th January 2026.

Bit of a chilly start to the day but wow what an amazing sunrise.

Over the last 6 weeks we’ve finished the roof off over the cattle feed area we started 2 years ago.
We have extended the roof by another 30 feet and put a new feed area at the front of the shed to give the cows a dedicated standing area to eat and separate bedded area at the back of the shed.

Earlier in the year we also moved our existing cattle handling system and extended it, along with the alterations to the cattle shed we can now administer treatments and carry out routine treatments in a much safer environment for the cattle, vets and ourselves.

We have had help from family and friends which has been a great and very much appreciated, the cows and ourselves are very happy with the results.
