Caer Caradoc looking a bit moody against grey skies but the rain enhanced the smell of the bluebells - always a positive spin to bad weather. However - starting to clear up and warm up for half term - not usually the case!

It's back - our excellent Shuttle bus service resumes on weekends, starting May 9th. So, if that walk has proved to be a little too hard, hop on it to get back to a welcome cuppa and cake

Our last 4 days as part of the YHA. Those of you wanting to book with us through them need to take action now. From Friday, you can make your bookings through our website or Independent Hostel. Looking forward to seeing you here now spring, lambs, skylarks, foals, sun and cuckoo have arrived!

Exciting times - Storm Goretti dumped a load of snow on us last night. Trees down, power off and no water! Chicken pen collapsed on top of the chicken hutch - but power back now. Just waiting for the water. Exciting times.

Lost most of our dusting of snow today which has uncovered all the ice! So if you're coming to walk the hills in this weather, worth investing in some extra grips for your boots - saves on slips and trips. Don't forget your penguin waddle coming down muddy or frozen hills too - not elegant but distributes your weight more evenly!
