"Ideal accommodation for a 14-person stag party group. Very well equipped. Clean, tidy, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms. We used the fire pit and hot tub which was all set up ready for us. Very friendly, response, local host. Would 100% recommend"

Our Mayfair stage is being delivered this evening at around 7:30pm, and will remain in place until it’s collected again on Monday afternoon.

There will still be full access into The Square, but please be aware that space will be reduced while the stage is in position. If you’re driving, parking, delivering, or opening up for business, please take extra care and allow a little more time.

The ovens are hot, the pastry is rising, and the Wolf Pie is officially back on the menu! After last week's wait, the kitchen smells incredible—that slow-cooked mixed game is smelling better than ever.

We are serving from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM tonight. Whether you’re finishing a walk or just fancy a night off from the dishes, come and help us celebrate being back in full swing!

The Wolf is coming to Allendale! 🥧🐺
Wow—what a start! A huge thank you to everyone who joined us last Wednesday for the launch of our Kings Midweek Feast. The Roman Pie was a total hit, and the pub was buzzing with that proper homely feel we love.

If you missed out last week, don’t worry—the feast continues this Wednesday (March 11th) from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM!

Our "Local Legend" guest pie for next week is the one many of you have been asking about: THE WOLF PIE.

Inspired by the legendary Allendale Wolf, this is a seriously hearty, slow-cooked Local Game Pie—rich, deep-filled, and perfect for these crisp March evenings.
