The Lion Bridge, Alnwick! 🤍

This bridge was built over the River Aln in 1775 by John Adam

The bridge has 4 arches and at the centre, on the east side, there is a statue of the Percy Lion🦁

It is the most famous bridge on the Aln!

King Charles III’s Coronation is coming up!👑

Alnwick Castle have a fab exhibition of coronets, robes, fabric and furniture alongside accounts, diaries and ephemera is displayed throughout the State Rooms of the castle🏰

They also have a Coronation celebrations event taking place on Saturday 6th May and Sunday 7th May. Family friendly and free of charge!👨‍👩‍👦
