Lavender Cottage is all set & ready to welcome our first guests tomorrow after another Lockdown 🙋🏼‍♀️

Not many dates left for this year already it’s booking up fast, so if anybody was wanting to get booked in I wouldn’t hang around 🙊

We are all looking forward to some sort of “Normality” from tomorrow, All of us here at Lavender Cottage wish all the local

The views when you reach the top are beautiful, enjoyed even more with a flask of coffee or a cheeky gin🥂

Perfect place to see the sun rise or set 🌅

Even dragged my 38 week pregnant self up there today 🤭

Lavender Cottage is a beautiful stone-built cottage nestled in the picturesque holiday destination of Powburn. Set over two levels, Lavender Cottage has been beautifully furnished throughout with downstairs offering a spacious living area, well-equipped kitchen and fantastic sun room at the back - the perfect place to enjoy a cup of tea! Upstairs are two good-sized bedrooms, a family bathroom and study room. Outside there is plentiful seating in a great enclosed garden that acts as the perfect sun trap.
Powburn is a fantastic base to explore this beautiful part of north Northumberland. Walkers and cyclists will enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the nearby Ingram Valley. Wooler is a welcoming market town nestled at the foot of the Cheviot Hills and offers a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.
The small, picturesque town of Rothbury sits at the foot of the Simonside Hills where the River Coquet runs through. The historic market town of Alnwick offers a wide range of amenities including Barter Books, one of the largest second-hand book shops within the UK. Alnwick Garden and Alnwick Castle are popular visitor attractions too. The Northumberland Heritage Coastline, recognised as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is only a short drive east making Lavender Cottage an excellent base to discover the wild and lonely hills with easy access to wide stretches of golden sandy beaches too. Beach 15½ miles. Shop and restaurant ½ mile down the road.

Facilities -

Electric central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and stairgate. Welcome & Breakfast pack also included.

Miscellaneous -
Enclosed garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. On road parking. No smoking. Pets Allowed at extra surcharge.

Ingram Valley - Breamish Valley - Linhope Spout 🌿🌲⛰

Our favourite place to come with family & friends and our four legged ones too 🐶 Right on your door step at Powburn.

Great for the children to run wild, play in the river, take a picnic, go for hikes and see all the wonders of nature around you.

We have spent many days/ nights here with family & friends, it’s one our favourite places to visit ✨
