One year of Bailiffgate Hotel ✨

A year since we opened the doors of the former Duchess’s School and welcomed our very first guests.
Over the last 12 months, Bailiffgate has become a place for celebrations, weekend escapes, long lunches, memorable stays and countless special moments in the heart of Alnwick.

From restoring this historic building with care to seeing it brought to life every day by our team and guests, it’s been an incredible first chapter.

To everyone who has stayed with us, dined with us, supported us and been part of the journey so far, thank you.

Something special is waiting at Bailiffgate Hotel ✨

As we prepare to celebrate our first anniversary on 28th May, we’re adding a few thoughtful touches to mark the occasion for guests joining us over the weekend.

🥂 Guests staying on Saturday 30th May will find handcrafted chocolates waiting in their room on arrival, specially sourced from Davenports.

🥂 And for those joining us for dinner on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th May, enjoy a complimentary glass of Albury Manor Sparkling as we raise a toast to one year of Bailiffgate.
