Not had a chance to do any painting so I put some new duvet sets in - watch this space for updates to coloured walls......to come when the bookings quieten down!

Well 2021 is 2/3 gone already and thankfully Strawverry Hill is full now until mid November and booking into 2022 is steady.
We have had quite alot of requests this season for people to bring their dogs with them.
We do have a No Dog Policy and we are adhering to it- we advertise no dogs so people book with us so they have peace of mind. If we allowed dogs and the next week there were people who are very sensitive and allergic to them and they had a reaction and ended up in hospital then we are liable and its not fair on those people who put their trust in our property to be dog free.
It has no bearing whether a dog is non shedding or not as to whether they can come- we had newfoundlands for years and I was fine with them but then I am highly allergic to whippets- very strange but then alot of people have strange allergies.
Please do not ask if we will allow dogs because the answer will always be no and I hope you appreciate why we say this- no two people are alike and we want everyone to have an enjoyable stay with us. Thank you

Well what a year this has been- you can holiday you can't holiday- its a bit like the hokey kokey!!
Our last booking over Christmas now been cancelled too so an empty house it is !!!
I wish all our residents old and new- a safe and comfortable Christmas and New Year and hopefully things will take a turn for the better in 2021- keep everything crossed!!🤞🤞🤞

So Kevin and I with Rees and Drew are on our summer hols in America on the cruise ship that our eldest son Kristin is dancing on- he's been away over 3 mths now finishing on Nov 16th- then hopefully he will get the chance to go on another ship in January.
So proud to see Kristin on the stage and doing what he loves best- even better that we can actually see him too !!!
Having a great family time- something we don't get to do very often with everyone being so busy -look forward to next year.

Well I made a surprise visit to Miami on Wednesday to see our son before he joins Royal Caribbean for 6 mths dancing on the Grandeur if the Seas (he didn't look like this when I greeted him!!) Lovely to see him and spend a few days here- think I may sleep for a week when I get home.......

Well by all accounts we are to have lovely weather up until July (hopefully longer!)- I do hope so then all our residents can fully appreciate the Northumberland coastline at it's best and Strawberry Hill View of course!!
