🏆 BAMBURGH NAMED BRITAIN’S BEST SEASIDE DESTINATION 🌊🏰

The latest national consumer survey, reviewed by travel experts Ski Vertigo, gave Bamburgh an 84% destination score, including five stars for its scenery, beach and seafront, with visitors also praising its wonderful sense of “peace and quiet.” 🌅

And it’s beaten some of Britain’s most famous seaside destinations, including St Ives and Brighton.

A huge well done to all of our local businesses, hospitality workers and residents who work so hard to welcome visitors and look after the village 👏

Every time I get a notification that a new review has come in, I take a deep breath…

Honestly, it feels like a mini panic attack!

Did they like the barn? Was everything okay? Did I forget something? Were they comfortable? Did it meet their expectations? The list goes on and on in my head.

Thankfully, all the hard work we’ve put in means we (hopefully!) keep receiving lovely feedback like this 💛

We don’t have unlimited funds, so renovations and improvements are always a work in progress. Of course, we’d love to do things like a brand-new kitchen or bathroom, but these things take time.

What matters most to us is that we’ve created a space that feels comfortable, homely, and a little bit stylish — somewhere you can truly relax while exploring beautiful Northumberland.

In the meantime, I’ll take some breaths 😂

He wanted to make sure your furry four legged family enjoy their stay with us, just as much as the hoomans!

So, as long as your pooch is on the booking, and we know there’s a Very Important Doggie, they’ll receive a lovely welcome treat. 🦴 🐾🐾
