📣 FRONT OF HOUSE TEAM MEMBERS WANTED

The Three Horseshoes in East Worldham, near Alton, is looking for friendly, enthusiastic and reliable people to join our team.

Senior Front of House Team Member
24–35 hours per week. This position could also be shared between two part-time team members.

Part-Time Front of House Team Members
One or two shifts per week, mainly during evenings and weekends. Experience would be helpful, but isn’t essential as full training can be provided.

Shifts include afternoons, evenings and weekends, with weekend shifts shared fairly wherever possible. We’re closed every Monday, including Bank Holidays, as well as Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, so these are guaranteed days off.

Pay will depend on the role and your experience. All positions are available to start as soon as possible.

🍻 Cheers to International Beer Day!
As if we needed an excuse to enjoy a cold pint on a Friday... 🍺

But today is International Beer Day, so it would be downright rude not to celebrate. And rather conveniently, it also happens to be Burger Night at The Three Horseshoes! 🍔

Order any of our burgers tonight and your pint is on us. (We've got 0% too!) Prefer wine? You can have a medium glass of house wine instead.

Juicy burger. Cold pint. Shady garden. And someone else does the washing up.

We can't think of a much better way to start the weekend. ☀️🍻

📚 The Three Horseshoes Little Book Stop has had another Penguin top-up! 🐧

This time, we’ve received a brilliant Book-to-Screen Bundle filled with stories that have found a whole new audience on screen. Among the new arrivals are Matilda, Wuthering Heights, Margaret Atwood’s The Testaments and Jilly Cooper’s Rivals, with plenty more waiting to be discovered.

We’re especially delighted to have also been able to include a copy of Joshua Luke Smith’s This Is the Main Event. After his video went viral online, Joshua turned its powerful message into a book built around one simple idea: this is your life, and this is the main event. Whether you’re packing lunches, paying bills, heading to the office, a hospital or a recovery meeting, it’s an invitation to notice and embrace your own aliveness in the life you’re actually living.
