Chained Oak farm is located directly opposite Alton Towers theme park. It is a short 10 minute walk from the farm to the main ticket booth. The short distance eliminates any traffic problems and car park fees.

September is one of the times we really love here at Chained Oak. Once the summer holidays are over, things feel a little more relaxed, but there’s still so much to enjoy. Alton Towers is right on our doorstep, and the woodland and Dimmingsdale are beautiful for walking, biking and exploring. It’s a lovely time to slow down, enjoy the area and have a little break, which is why we’ve decided to offer 10% off midweek days in September stays in The Loft.

Hello everyone!!

We have been a little quiet on the socials lately, so as we head into the new Alton Towers season we thought pop on and give you a little look at what we have to offer at Chained Oak!

We are a family run business located just 10 minutes walk from Alton Towers theme park, set in the heart of the Churnet Valley & Dimmingsdale woodland, surrounded by stunning walks, mountain bike routes, bouldering routes and great pubs.

We sleep up to 22 guests accross 5 B&B rooms plus a self catering option (all with their own entrances).

At Chained Oak, you'll find cosy spaced to unwind, a warm garden room where breakfast is served, a comfy lounge with a roaring fire, plus outdoor BBQ areas, firepits, and seating with beautiful valley views.

Perfect for Alton Towers trips, walking breaks or just switching off to nature. 😊
