Stirling Castle looking beautiful today! Joined one of the free guided tours (every 30 mins!) and we learned a lot and gained an appreciation for something that we go by every day! Pat, our 10am guide, was brilliant Historic Environment Scotland! And… we noticed lots of new details on our own just by looking up! 🦄 🦄🦄🏰🏰🏰 🦁 🦁🦁

Beautiful Loch Venachar this morning. It was like a mirror! Idyllic Spring morning for a short trip out. There was a symphony of Bees buzzing, geese honking and a woodpecker in a nearby tree. Ok, symphony is not the word to use for wild geese honking, but still…! It wasn’t a Cacophony, it was really nice!

Some lovely comments and feedback from Matthew (age 9) and Elliott (age 6) who stayed with us while on their school holidays. Definitely this week’s World’s Best Guests Ever! 🏆🥇🏆🥇🏆🥇
It is also nice to see The Crees Inn get not One but TWO honourable mentions! Must have made a really good impression. Lots of hard work and effort by teams on both sides is all made worthwhile with such nice feedback like this.

Beautiful morning to explore Edinburgh! This is the view from the iconic Edinburgh Castle down the Royal Mile towards the spire of St Giles’ with the slopes of Arthur’s Seat behind it. The second picture is of the main entrance to Edinburgh Castle. Both taken at about 10am before the Old Town district came to life!
